We are taking the safety and health of our staff and clients very seriously. There are many new safety and sanitation initiatives that we are implementing:
Social Distancing – We are splitting our Service Providers into shifts and opening our salon 6 days a week with extended ours to reduce the number of people in the salon by a minimum of 50%. Service Providers will be working in every other station, leaving an empty station to keep a safe distance of at least six feet apart.
Masks and shields – All of our staff and clients will be required to wear masks and shields. We require that you wear a mask to your appointment and we ask that you wear one that secures behind the ears. If you do not have one, please let us know ahead of time so that we can make sure we have one available to you.
Touchless Greetings & Goodbyes – We will not be shaking hands or hugging at this time.
Limited Changing Room – Color clients will be handed a plastic bag with a clean smock upon entering the salon. Please put all of your belongings and your clothes into the plastic bag and carry it with you throughout your appointment. At the end of the appointment, please put your used smock into the bag, pull it shut, and place it in one of the silver bins that says “ used smock bags.” Cut clients will receive a fresh cape in a Ziploc bag for their service with a Sanek strip. Please come in freshly cleaned clothing.
No Beverages – We will not be offering any beverages at this time.
Check-in – We ask that you arrive for your appointment at the time of your appointment and no earlier. Please enter the salon and check-in. If your service provider is not available yet, we will ask you to please return to your car until we call you to let you know your service provider is ready for you. We are doing this limit the number of people in the lobby and waiting inside the salon. Please do not bring any extra guests with you and please do not bring children to your appointment at this time. Absolutely no pets will be allowed in the salon at this time.
Sanitation Stations: Please take advantage of the sanitation station as you walk in the salon. There will also be a sanitation station in the middle of the salon for your convenience and safety.
Contactless Checkout: The front desk will not be accepting cash during this time. Please use the credit card machines and Tippy app on the front desk to help us keep your checkout contactless.
Temperature Checks: Each morning when employees enter the salon, they will be getting their temperature taken. If their temperature is above 99.4 they will be asked to leave immediately. We also reserve the right to take any client’s temperature who is exhibiting signs of illness.
Products for use: Clean trays and dirty bins. Each product is one-time use only. Please put any product used in the dirty bin. If you have any free-time throughout the day, please do your part in helping to keep the salon clean and sanitary by cleaning the dirty bin.
Towels: must go in silver contained bin and must never be left out.
Capes and Smocks: Bags for smocks and belongings. Capes will be cleaned in put into new Ziploc bags. Neck strips will be used for every haircut.
Gloves: We have extra gloves for all Service Providers to use during any service
Hand-Washing: Please wash your hands between every client and before mixing any color. The recommended amount of time to wash your hands is 20 seconds (the Happy Birthday song 2x)
Everyone helps with sanitation: This is not just assistants’ responsibilities. Please help keep the salon and your station clean and sanitized.
If you have an underlying health condition, we ask that you wait to return to the salon until May 14th per state guidelines. In addition, if you have been ill or around someone who has been ill, please wait 14 days to reschedule your appointment.
We ask for your patience and understanding during this time as we are working quickly and very diligently to be both accommodating and conscientious to your needs. We are incorporating extensive new and improved sanitation practices into every aspect of our operation.
